The Snuff Movie with Lisa Enos' nude crucifixion was made in the United States. There are Brazilian movies with crux scenes.Well, this started with the combination of a map geek and a random thought of making a map coloring the countries that have made crux films. Why? I don't know, I just wanted to.theView attachment 1395573

I was thinking of that - it's supposed to be set mainly in an English country house, Cruxton Abbey like, but a bit of online research tells me it was actually filmed in Romania, which isn't surprising. But I think it qualifies as a British production? The Snuff Movie with Lisa Enos' nude crucifixion was made in the United States. There are Brazilian movies with crux scenes.
The location of the filming, or the location where the story plays? It's more the location, at least what I have in mind, not so much the nationality of the company making it
Yeah, I should have checked. Lisa Enos is from Michigan, but she was married to Bernard Rose (since divorced) when the movie was made. The lead actor Krabbe' is Dutch. Apparently it wasn't very successful, and something like it wouldn't attract copious funding, so it makes sense it would be made in a place like Romania where crew and bit players would be cheaper.I was thinking of that - it's supposed to be set mainly in an English country house, Cruxton Abbey like, but a bit of online research tells me it was actually filmed in Romania, which isn't surprising. I live under a rockAnd, how can you possible leave the US out?
A wise choice, considering global warming.I live under a rock
A small point, the 'Orthodox' map apparently includes 'Eastern' churches like Armenian (claims to be the oldest national church, founded before Constantine made the Roman empire officially Christian), Georgian, Syriac and Coptic, that are not part of the Orthodox family, having different views on the Trinity etc. The iconography (for once, the right word!) of the Crucifixion in the Eastern and Orthodox churches is typically standardised, showing Christ hanging in a 'Z' posture, head bowed to the right, wearing a loincloth that hangs down to his knees. Now lets compare and contrast to % catholic/orthodox?
