Such as this not conventionally good looking lady sporting lavish pubic and armpit hair.

well if it went on itching that long, she'd have done better to shave it, and apply some Canesten (or whatever they used in those days)

and a new Andromeda for me! I thought I'd seen every interpretation of my favourite Greek fantasy, but new ones keep coming to light - and that's indeed a very sensuous one - it suits the opening of my poem, 'Sea Sacrifice':

A young Andromeda,
full of her nakedness,
chained. The rocks’ harshness,
coarse crusta chafing
soft skin, yet she’s not scared –
she’ll cope when it comes …

When it comes...
Where will it come?
From a trough in the strong surge,
slithering through sea-wrack,
clawing from a cliff-cleft –
Where will it come?
