Not necessarily. According to my own personal experiments, as long as the upper arms are lying horizontally on the top of the beam with their full length and they are immobilized in this position, the victim could hang on them for hours before the pain will start growing and the damages occur. But of course, finally the pain must become unbearable as it should be...

I like it, it makes a change. We often see these female Christ figures in their crucifixion and death, we don't often see anything past that. This really brings home the point. Could a religion have been based on a suffering but ultimately triumphant female figure? Can we merge the suffering hero and the mother?

The spring is coming. Can you hear the birds' voices, do you see the flock of cranes in a V-formation ? The season for feeding birds passed but we decided to give few pieces of the fresh meat to the crows and vultures. For the moment the meat is slightly too fresh for birds and attracts mostly men's eyes, dancing and screaming on the crosses, but we hope after a day or two it will attract animals attention far more than peoples' concern. So, let the dishes slowly ripen and enjoy the spring!
