That is reminiscent of a classic tale:
No comment from someone who was stupid enough to get herself nicked by the sickle on Sundaystories about accidents
I was just thinking that one should do a crux version of this: The Carnifex's Lament or something.a lesson in 'torture by gravity' which should be a familiar theme on Crux Forums...
Well I do think there are some examples of stories and pictures where things go wrong with the process.I was just thinking that one should do a crux version of this: The Carnifex's Lament or something.
That's a scythe, not the same thing at all!Not this sickle I hope!

Jolly, leave that woman alone please, I need her to finish the girl without a sword story!
During the last 5 years or so, I often thought that human beings must have been more intelligent or - at least not so "kinky" - some decades ago. I think, I was probably wrong ...

In general, that is the difference in English usage, between two quite different tools, though there are - and in the past were many more - harvesting and mowing tools somewhere between the two, with more or less curved, straight-edged or serrated, blades, handles of varied lengths, straight or curving, and used in various ways - in different parts of the country I've still come across either word being used for different types. And they can all give you a nasty cut!

I just did a bit of research and I'm glad that I wasn't too quick to condemn her for being ignorant or racist. It was a TV show in which celebrities visit secluded places in the world to experience the nature. In that particular episode, she - apparently a member of some popular girl group. Don't ask me about the name because I hate k-pop with passion - and a few other celebrities visited Fiji and tried to "survive" there without relying on too many commodities of civilization.Mhm, to be honest, I would like to know a bit more about the background behind these two pictures.
She is probably Korean because this is from a Korean site as far as I understood.
But where have these pictures been taken?
Did she think - in spite of the clothings - she is on an archipel / island, which has not been in contact with "civilisation" for a long time / at all and did she really expect for this reason, that the "aborigines" would make fire like the people in the stone ages?
In parts of Papua New Guinea or on the islands of the Indian Andamanes like "North Sentinel" (mhm, although no clothings on North Sentinel), ...
