Messaline was certain that her step-father would have a litany of demands to place on her, one of which would certainly be she at least consider yet another suitor that would benefit him yet do nothing for her libido. She bathed and fixed her hair before slipping on a silk robe and tall heeled slippers and nothing else. As she entered the grand dining rope she was hardly surprised to find her step-father flanked by his ‘assistant’ Ulrika and his chamber-maid Ariel, neither of which has a purely plutonic relationship with Admi.
Halfway between the door she had entered and the chair she was to take she blew apart Admi’s rehearsed spiel by slipping the robe and walking to the chain naked save the tall slippers. She sat, picked up the wine glass and nodded saying “Ulrika, Ariel, dear father, it is good to see you all.”
Admi’s lecture was lost as he stared at her stunning beauty.
“What is the matter father? Did you not wish to see me?” Messaline asked with smirk on her face. He remained speechless.
“Dear father I know you wish me to wed. I know you wish me to wed without regard to my feelings as long as it would increase your wealth. I will agree to wed whoever you chose under one condition. I go to America for a year and you give me 10,000 Francs to live on.”
“I don’t have that kind of money lying around, Messaline” Admi lied in protest.
She shrugged and said “Sell some livestock, dear father.”
