Shouldn't this be "po ruski"?
In the United States, "Labor Day" is September 1, not May 1, as counter-propaganda. Of course by now all the unions here are busted.
In Hedrick Smith's book "The Russians", some "socialist paradise" workers are quoted. "They pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work."
Pardon my cynicism. Maybe we should bring back the "May pole" tradition.

It's so weird, a perfectly normal road, then solidified lava several feet thick. Perfectly habitable houses, with a wall of lava next to the back yard. That was what we found on I think highway 11 a decade or so ago or mayby highway 130. Is this further along the same road?
