Restful sleep? I rather think....
An army unit with harsh discipline. A Women's Foreign Legion or so. The recruits or cadets get a hard training. Breaches in discipline are punished.
These four women were so tired by the training, they slept when it was not authorised. But they got caught.
The company sergeant major decided they would have to spend the night tied spreadeagled naked in bed, during seven nights, in the guard house.
After the evening meal, they had to do forced labour in the camp. At 9 pm, they were escorted to the guard house. The officer of the guard ordered them to strip naked.
"Intooo! The Bed!"
"Spreeeead! Legs!"
"Aaaarms! Over head!"
Resigning, they were tied naked to their bedposts by members of the regimental police. Every evening, one company of the unit would parade in front of them, to watch their humiliation.
There was strict discipline even during the punishment. They were forbidden to speak. They were forbidden to move their head, they had to keep 'eyes up'. Actually, they were kept awake the whole night. It was a harsh test, seven nights long, to find out whether they were fit to serve.
