Hm, not so sure about this.
But the more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards "probably true".
It sure is true in the male part of the population, but those dare to express what they want!
For the female part it is probably true as well, but there are social factors that are burying this "inner truth" under things like "an emancipated woman must not be weak and surrender" or simply the (unfortunately necessary) caution makes it seam not a good idea to broadcast that desire.

Especially as the dom side of things is attractive for psychopaths as well and not only for responsible people...

I think that I'm (or try to be...) an emancipated woman and I claim the possibility to give myself, when I want, whose I want...
For me, it's that an emancipated woman and not those who hide themselves
to show a supposed power and don't give up themselves...
Surrender is good for a woman, towards a man or towards another woman:

I wouldn't go that far. Pleasure can be had in different ways, BDSM is just one aspect.
But I understand what you want to say and agree: When there is this complete trust and unconditional surrender, emotions can be experienced that are hard to have (if at all) in other ways.
Not so much through BDSM "play" but through that "deepness" of the "opening up".
 
It's a state of mind, a condition of being -​

Perhaps I'll be more reserved about that. I've much spook of that with a man
who conviced me that he could see that when a woman was in a total gift
with him...Perhaps he was right .....it could be possible if the man is entirely listening his partner...;)

Perhaps, but Men are wired differently than us. They know what they want. We know, what they want and to most the gift is ... if they get it!

Yes! They can be honest and kind and loving ... But surrender ... that's a special Man!
