The last known slave camp known to exist in Ghana closed in 1905. While the Ottoman's started to end slavery in 1847 it didn't become illegal in Turkey until 1933. And there is fairly good documentary evidence of authorities in parts of north Africa and other Islamic areas tolerating (certainly not suppressing) the slave of sex slaves into the 1960s.

Today it is of course it is recognized as illegal in virtually every country which has a government which is internationally recognized.
