In WWII the Japanese occupied Burma for several years. One of the lesser known stories of those times was the local freedom fighter known as @Yupar, who with the support of some allied officers defied the Japanese invaders. Until this photo was found recently in an old trunk her fate had been a mystery. Now we know she was captured by the Japanese and crucified as Queen Yupar along with her western advisers.

Many years later Burma, now Myanmar, finds itself in trouble once again. Could a new queen rise to lead the people to freedom? Or would she again fall into the hands of the oppressors, perhaps inspiring the people to free themselves in response to her martyrdom?

I prefer that Japanese version more. One very old eye witness ( who lived in Japanese time ) in one of the current suffering villages said...current Junta's soldiers raid and torching villages are worst than WW2 time. Cuz at WW2, Japanese didn't attack civilian villages in Burma.

Behold, the Queen accepts the sacrifice made for her ... the sacrifice of a young goat, which was given to her ... on Golgotha, outside the holy city ... for a brief moment

We have in this picture Golgotha and Jerusalem, Jewish Elders in anger, Followers of Nazarene in despair, Roman soldiers ... the Governor had a plan, he needs a riot in the holy city to show his power. Takes those three people and execute them this way, announcing that this is offering for Astarte Venus ... For the Goddess ... Maybe those three were Christian ? maybe they secretly sacrificed bread for Ashera .. girls kept pigeons - birds of Venus ... you probably know that in the Jewish tradition Ashera originally appeared next to Yahweh as his divine wife and was worshiped under pillars erected for her. Very interesting – regarding the description below the picture - how many people know historical fact, that after the capture and destruction of Jerusalem in the year 70, in the 2nd century Romans (Emperor Hadrian?) built on Golgotha a temple to the roman goddess of love - Venus.
 
I acquired a few slaves in the slave auction thread a while back, and I found that some of these purchases required a serious level of discipline to keep them in line. With some, sadly, I was forced to take the ultimate step, to make an example for the others.

So in line with this, I issued the following notice

On the designated day @Kathy was stripped and marched to her cross, crowned with thorns, raised on the street outside the House so as to be available to every passer by. Above her head was a titulus detailing her crime ("didn't swallow"). A ladder was provided for anyone who wished to take advantage of her, and it appears several quite well endowed men have come to do just that. One young woman appears shocked at the sight of the male members Kathy has to accommodate, but most women are watching with interest, and why not? A female body stripped and stretched on the cross is a beautiful and engaging sight, especially when the punishment is so richly deserved.

Is the woman shocked or jealous Kathy was 'forced' to accommodate the generously endowed males? What are Kathy's thoughts of having to take such huge shafts while she is helpless to stop them from taking her? Is Phlebas pleased with her punishment or made horney by it? Is there one of his other slaves kneeling beneath the window's sill satisfying his perversions the way Kathy would not???
