I said that image made me think, in a perverse and blasphemous way,I'll see your YIKES!, and raise you an AAAIIIEEEE!!!.
of the hymn 'Rock of Ages, cleft for me/ Let me hide myself in Thee' -
to compound the blasphemy, here's my crux ersion:
Stock of aged, noble tree,
Cleft to hide yourself in me;
Soon my water and my blood,
From my riv'n insides will flood,
For my sin I must endure
Pain of guilt, and Romans' power.
Not mere nailing of my hands
Can fulfil their law’s demands;
Though my weals no respite know,

Training The New Ponygirl...
If you've been following my posts in the chess thread, you'll have seen my new ponygirl model. Well it occurred to me that ponies need to be trained, so I decided to facilitate said training in the appropriate setting of the Kink Dungeon
The whip-wielding dominatrix is my "Melissa" character who has featured in a number of my previous renders, and keen-eyed members might spot my "Maxine" character in a broken down hanging cage which is the only part of this scene that is not my own creation - the cage and the chain it's hanging from was ripped from Doom 2016 along with a bunch of other stuff that may well make an appearance in future renders (Thanks to my mum's bf for ripping all the 3D assets from the game)
I don't really like the frilly bits and bows on the pony boots and mittens, but they're part of the Daz3D asset that I used. Maybe one day I can find a different ponygirl costume download but until then she'll do just fine

Monty, I can’t help but think that such diabolical cornus were actually used in Roman times.
She's thinking about it, that's for sure. She knows she has to push up and arch her back in order to get her body over the cornu. Trying to get those horns inserted properly . . . ouch!!!
But her bigger problem, from looking closely at the picture, is how she's to push up with her feet. The foot nails are not driven all the way. Much of the shafts remain exposed and angled downward. Her feet would slide down the shafts and lose contact with the upright. It would be very difficult for her to push up simply by standing on the nails with nothing to push against. If the head of the nail is not that large, she might even pull her foot off the nail! (Horrible to imagine.)
Nail those feet properly! Same issue with her wrists. Shafts not driven all the way. Wrists are not secured.
Someone is not properly supervising the execution team here!

Very intense, very realistic as to posture and strain on her body.
Umm, not to drive the point home too hard, but same problem in this otherwise wonderful image. Look at her feet, and that left wrist. Drive those nails all the way boys (or girls--whoever is doing the nailing)!I figure it adds to the drama of the picture to make the nails look really big, but a gal on a cross just wants to have good, solid support! This one looks like she's about to get it, too!

But I DO take the point. As well as @Apostate ’s point that I should do more crux art
