Change of tone, an ad from around the late 50's early 60's in Sydney. Many would say that Sydney has become a more staid and less daring place than it was then, entertainment wise. An amateur mistake. She should have taken advantage of all the crux experts here on CF, who would have gladly contributed their advice for an accurate and more realistic martyrdom for her. Certainly they would have pointed out that a mere 2 hours on the cross wouldn't be nearly enough to make her point, and suggested a more significant 24 hours instead.

She "forgot to submit her expenses"? :doh:

Obviously a case of overlooked fine print! Fortunately she was so kind to crucify herself! Though she thereby neglected the basic principles of the crucifixion no-dress code.:nono:I suggest we invite her for membership! :icon_tfno:

Hey, DZ, you try standing with your arms up like that for 2 hours.

Posing is one thing. The late Raquel Welch posed in a crux position. Holding yourself in that position for an extended time (not to mention getting a doctor to monitor heart rate, etc.) is quite another.

Her feet are flat on a support, arms out. All her weight is on her feet. She's standing. Her shoulders might get tired but she's not hanging at all from her arms. Not experiencing anything remotely like a real crucifixion. A stunt.
