You are not the first person to raise that question, Marcella. Speaking as a fan of the Lovely Ladies Thread, (or an 'ogler' if you prefer) the justification for me is that they bring in images that we can manip, or at the very least introduce us to models who we can use. Of course I can go out there onto the World Wide Web, I know where to find Jasmine, Katty, Caprice and their colleagues, but I am grateful to the various authors of the LLT for saving me the trouble.

Agreed 100%. While crux may be the primary focus of this site, it's not the main reason I come here

One thing I've found - thumbnails are not showing up on a great many posts,
I've found that these are nearly all ones where the poster has simply left them as attachments,
if you click 'Insert as: thumbnails', there's a good chance they'll appear properly.

Interesting - do we know if there's a difference as far as the bandwidth "hit" on the forum if they leave them as attachments?
 
For what it's worth, I use postimages.org as a host for my gifs, such as those showing off my go-go dancing skills in the Lovely Ladies Thread (I am enjoying myself very much with that, thank you very much). :p

Anyway, an account is free there. The maximum size for an upload is 10 megabytes. I don't know how much total storage I have, but I've uploaded a small truckload of gifs there by now, so I'd say it seems generous.

Thanks to Wragg for the heads up on the forum problems, I will lay of all those threads until further notice. Hopefully I didn't load them up too much, I had asked about that in the past and someone replied " Nah, bring 'em on we wanna see it." ;) As to Marcella's comment perhaps I should weed out those pics that won't do for manips before posting. I had a while back started a folder with manip candidates I'll work on filling it up. I'm sure you all know how hard it is to find new crux material on the net, most of it will be found on here or the Foundation and I don't want repost pics that others have covered already. Now what am I gonna do with all those thousands of pics I've downloaded of Katty, Caprice, Miela, Nikola, Ryonen and Mila Azul and....and. :rolleyes:

It came to my notice that Ancient Chinese Women thread got locked before them but it's not included in the list, and it still remains as such when the other threads have been unlocked by @phlebas. I wonder if there is a reason why it was made an exception, or it was a simple mistake.

I'm asking this because some of the posters in that thread are not proficient in English (even less than I am, that is :)) so they may not be able to bring this matter up in a proper place.

If you see the next post it was locked slightly later, in fact, but fear not, we will unlock that as well. ;) @phlebas is going around with his bunch of keys!
