She has earned a generous degree of free time and freedom of movement from her master. Although her master feels that a slave doesn't deserve clothing, except her a metal chain around her neck to show her status, she appreciate the freedom she has to stretch her legs, and get fresh air, despite still being a naked slave among clothed free people when she is out.
However, if she disappoints her master, or mismanage the freedom he gave her, she may put back into permanent bondage in her free time, like the other the slaves, and his trust will be even harder to earn back.

This master has exceptionally little respect for his slaves.
Whenever he takes them everywhere, the are required to follow him on a leash. He refuses to let them be seen outside, without them first being gagged, and having their arms bound behind their back. Most masters and mistresses would opt for a gentler treatment of their slaves, but how slaves are treated is entirely up to their discretion.

I thought people might find this an interesting comment. It is out of Medieval Warfare V-X I-4 which concentrated on POWs in medieval times. In this case Viking slave trade:
