However, a slave doesn't truly own anything, and her adornments are symbolic of the dominion that her master has over her, as he own them as much as he owns her.
An enslaved girl, who has not be assigned a master, will be kept completely naked, as clothing can only be given as a privilege by a master, they have no inherent right to it. Some slavegirls may even be kept naked when they are off duty, as a reminder of their true status.
This slave has been thoroughly familiarized with her slave role, and is total ambivalent and accepting of her own nudity.
This slave has even learn to derive a type of boldness and pride from her position.
This slave, although now used to her nudity, is still uncertain of her new role as a slave.

It is imperative that on arrival, slaves are immediately stripped of all their clothing and possessions, as they are indoctrinated into their new lives a slaves. Today, these two women were free people. They were wearing nice clothing, and lived their own lives. Now they stand here, stripped of their former identity, they have been reduced to mere female bodies, and are without any signifiers of their previous personhoods. They are denied the self expression that comes from wearing clothes, and their bodies are no longer theirs to hide.
They now stand idly, as they wait to learn of the full nature of their fate. They do not choose to cover themselves, as they know that it is futile in light of what is to come. What ever role they are assigned, slaves are seldom allowed clothing, and things which they had previously valued, such as pride and self image, are now things they must learn to abandon.
Abandoning all sense of shame, these slaves have grown accustomed of their temporary predicament, caged naked, and watched constantly by suited men. They anxiously stand, trying to assess who the men are, and what will happen to them, not caring or noticing that their naked bodies are in full view.
Formerly self respecting women, some of whom cared deeply about what they wore, and how they presented themselves to the world, they no longer notice that they have been reduced to something much lower.
Their current situation does not worry them as much, as they are more concerned about the uncertainty of their future.

A master may choose to clothe his slave, and choose to give her what ever comforts she sees fit. However, a supplier must keep their currently unsold stock completely naked, and in minimal living condition, as before being sold, a slave must understand that they don't have any rights to such things, and it is up to the discretion of their master rather they deserve them or not.
She would be appreciative, and grateful when her master gives her comforts, but ultimately accept what her master chooses for her.
Today she was a proud woman, now sits naked, on the cold floor, chained like property. As a former free woman, she always placed herself above slaves. Although she never thought that it would happen to her, she can expect as a woman, unable to maintain her free status and avoid slaver. The best she can hope now is for a live in a relatively comfortable harem, and that she can learn to accept her new status as a naked slave.
A fair point, although some suppliers may prefer to keep slaves in better conditions to discourage unrest and rebellion.

A well trained slave shouldn't resort to unrest of rebellion, regardless of their living conditions.
Yeah, but a retailer or wholesaler is not likely to be dealing in only well trained slaves, are they?

Then it is their job to make sure that their slaves are well trained or broken to their role, before they reach market sale.
Well, if that's the most efficient way. Gotta consider profit and risk, after all..
