Sarah shows such compassion, I wonder why.
She may recognise Claire as a visitor to the shop, maybe even a suspected thief.
What brings her to the cross on this day?
Perhaps she is drawn to the site of a young woman naked and stretched out in public, maybe she gets a thrill from Claire's suffering.
Perhaps, given the way she mirrors the suffering of the other in her face, she sees herself on that cross, feels her own body stripped and exposed, pierced and suffering. The feelings that move her may be her own vicarious suffering.
I wonder what her prayer was?
If she only could

3 prostitutes and their madam crucified.
Only 2 prostitutes and the madam are fully visible in this covertly taken photo.
Our operative Mishka (left on photo) and the high value intelligence she gathered will be missed.
It is unkown if Mishka recruited others in the now closed brothel, but it is highly unlikely she would have recruited more then one.
The other prostitutes (14) in the brothel seem to have vanished as well.
It is uncertain at this time(15th of May) what happened to them.
Through analsys the execution must have taken place very close after the arrests (14th of April)
Puzzling is none of the women show any signs of previous torture.

Could it be possible that some of the missing prostitutes worked undercover for the 'opposite force', that they did have a hand in preparing the round-up, and are now enjoying protection?

A lesser crime but still a capital offense.
Maybe a bullet in the back of the head or more likely hanged on the gallows

I get it! They could have embarassing knowledge about powerful people they had worked for!of course it would be possible!
But I feel they are seen as guilty in unknowingly harbouring for a long time one or more enemies of the state.
