This here, this position (picture below) works with really thick nails if a) they are driven deep enough into the wood between the ulna and radius and b) if they have a very wide head or a shim/washer.
But it would never work with rope restraints only.
To get the woman into this position hanging by her arms, sturdy wrist bondage straps (preferably made of leather) would have to be put on her wrists.
