Oh. I thought you were asking an aesthetic question, not a socio-economic or cultural/historical oneI feel that, for the most part, short hair on women signals practicality. Now long hair, to me, feels like it signals decoration. It seems that the history of insisting on long hair on women is in large part seeing women as decoration, needing extended care. Short hair, in general, needs less care.
I am asking an aesthetic question. I wanted to add some interesting thoughts on the short vs. long hair question.Oh. I thought you were asking an aesthetic question, not a socio-economic or cultural/historical one
Short hair can be beautiful too. Even some women are beautiful without hair.Long hair can be put into a bun, which is just as practical as short hair, but can be let loose when it’s time to be sexy.
If you are building the world around you to be practical, you will soon find yourself surrounded by soulless concrete boxes. It’s good to have some beautiful
That’s just like, your opinion manShort hair can be beautiful too. Even some women are beautiful without hair.
I can see the beauty in some of the long hair on these women but I still say it takes more work to care for the hair, which some women don't like to do.Some miscellaneous super long hair, as an antithesis
You are right. It is my opinion. That’s just like, your opinion man

Doesn’t short hair require more frequent visits to the barber?I can see the beauty in some of the long hair on these women but I still say it takes more work to care for the hair, which some women don't like to do.
Why, in your opinion, is long hair on women automatically beautiful and virtuous on women? It's not to me.And building muscle is more difficult than staying skinny. Should we abandon beauty and virtue for mere convenience?
It does. I should have said that it takes more day-to-day care for long hair than for short hair.Doesn’t short hair require more frequent visits to the barber?
Not automatically, but it certainly follows. It takes effort, planning, and discipline, you must be conscientious. You have to keep it clean and healthy. Those are all virtuous. As for beautiful, yeah, that’s up to you. But frankly, shaving heads of beautiful woman has been used as a traumatic punishment. Even if you like it, I hate it, deeply. It’s damn near a phobia for meWhy, in your opinion, is long hair on women automatically beautiful and virtuous on women? It's not to me.
