Boris Vallejo's Slavegirls

I got hold of a bundle of Flash Gordon comics at an impressionable age,
I think they were redrawn updates of the 1930s originals,
but I remember that episode vividly -
Flash is in the clutches of an evil queen who's drugged him so his memory's gone;
Dale has got herself enrolled as a slavegirl in the wicked woman's palace -
when she bravely tries to attract his attention by dropping a tray,
he doesn't recognise her - and while the Queen enjoys a night with Flash,
Dale's dragged down to the dungeon for a lesson in obedience!
As in the cinema, there was more chance of soft porn getting through in the 30s
than in the post-war years - there's quite a lot of mild eroticism in the Flash Gordon comics,
though I think the flogging scene is the high spot.
A couple of other samples (I love the see-through harem-style ski-pants! :D)
