As ive said before. That gives you some insight into how many burnings were actually done. Slowly. in stages of fast burning brushwood & straw put under the victim with some time inbetween.

Except of course the victim would be bound upright and after a few burns very much naked.

Liquid accelerants wont burn fabrics so much as they act like a wick, thats why fire investigators can still find them after a big fire.

You'd certainly hope to go by smoke inhalation before the flames got to you!
