I was asking a male escort about removal of the hair at "his working hole", well he said actually he has only around 1/4 of active customers. He ment better just shave, he recommended an electric shaver, forgot the brand--- me still not shaved there.
I have shaved my groin, ass crack and balls for decades, and I use epillator and for a past decade, also cheap IPL device.
I started to do it because I drove a lot with bisycle (40km per day for work trips and one or two +100km trip per week), and I started to get abrasions. With hair removed and using talcum, problem went away.
Every cutting based shaving methods are nightmare on that area. I’m quite hairy guy, but on thay area, skin is thin and hairs are not so dense. They can be easily ripped frm the roots without much pain. Especially maintenance is easy. Just few sparse hair here and there.
Main pubic area is another matter, so trimming works fine for me, and no-one have asked for more.
I have Philips One Blade, which I use mainly to shave my beard, if that gets too long. Much easier than using normal shaver. That thing is great and can be used all over the body, including the private area. Everything comes off with single sweep without cuts or soreness. It leaves just enough growth to prevent ingrown hairs and to reduce irritation without stump being visible. Haven’t tested on larger areas, but I’d use that one if situation requires full shave.
So, my choise for areas with rubbing is epillator or wax and that one on other areas if permanent or semi permanent options are not interesting.
