See, I think that instead of getting in the way, hair could also hide the face - a woman could hide behind her bangs. Ultimately, the choice of hairstyle should be left to the executioner. I personally think that the high ponytail looks hotter than just wearing the hair down. And most crux is done with the hair down anyways, so it's a welcome change of aesthetic.
