The last 100 yards was as arduous as first three miles combined. The path is steep and covered with loose dirt and the granite shards. All three would lose their footing and fall several times, something pulling down one or more of the slaves they are chained to. After the tired slaves struggled to carry the beams the mound they find the summit no less hospitable than the compound they have left. Three crosses made of Messaline’s Premium French Crucifixion Wood™ lay on blocks waiting for their condemned slaves.
(What?!?!?! You thought I would ‘stiff’ Messa? I have some standards!!!)
Head plantation master Gunner and head overseer Bull sodomizes the three slaves before nailing them to their crosses.
Kathy Summers will be nailed first. Any bravery she had has disappeared and she struggles mightily to avoid the cross but she is no match for Bull and Gunner who easily slams the slave onto her cross. As painful as the nailing of her wrists was it was nothing compared the single spike that not only tore through tissue but shattered boned on its journey through her feet and into the face of the cross. Her animal-like howl echoed down in the parade ground where several slaves fainted as they watched on the large screen.
Barb is next and she was no more cooperative than Kathy but instead of begging them not to crucify her she used rather ‘colorful’ language to curse them, question their manhood, and their number of known parents but the result is the same. As the last nail binds her feet to the cross she rears up and howls in agony!
It is my turn. Trembling I walk over and straddle my cross without any need to drag me. I look down the long stipe where my feet will soon be nailed. The term ‘sacrificial lamb’ pops into my head but I think the lamb doesn’t know it is about to be slaughtered and I do.
I lay back and though I know this is going to hurt after watching Kathy and Barb being nailed to their cross there is no way to imagine the pain. I don’t remember if I screamed when the spike went through my wrist and into the cross with a single blow of the hammer. I really don’t remember the second spike tearing through my other wrist or even my feet being nailed.
We are left lying on our crosses for a while under this cursed Oklahoma sun. The heat is oppressive and, with my arms nailed as they are, I can smell my pungent armpits. Certainly the spike through my feet is the greatest pain but I am still aware of the shards of glass and granite imbedded in the soles of my feet that will torment me until I die.

Theresa is quite perceptive and the three slaves lay on their crosses. It would serve no purpose to raise their crucified bodies only to have them faint from the overwhelming pain…
