Yesterday she was a young woman of noble and roman blood.
Today rejected by her family as a common rebellious slave.
The nails hammered thru her limbs by a former slave sold by her father a few months back.
Her feet nailed so she couldn't even hide her crotch.
Even the sun baked dead slave on the low cross next to her was wearing a loincloth.
In agony and displayed for all to see her life would end here.
Until then she had to endure the wrath of the nails.

She could almost feel the cold shadow of her dream-cross falling on her arm.
For a few moments she just lay there, excited.

Closed her eyes again,
hoping she could continue the same dream.

The image is great, but I really like the line at the end. While I would rather have beer while watching a crucifixion, I'm thinking I would not leave a crucifixion to go to a bar. But that's just me. Again, nice image!
