Oh..i m looking for it ..i like to see mature looks like them crucified more in this time being. May be cuz of i m geeting old in outside tooThink she could have a twin or maybe she is coming to star in an alternative timeline some day.
You go get the bastards, Gyda!So it seems Gyda, Taurica's twin survived the battle.
With most of the army defeated the only units, that survived as a whole, were horse mounted.
Gyda, a horse archer, was sure her twin sister died on the field.
One of the scouts reported the romans had crucified about 50 prisoners lined along the path near the battlefield. Some were still alive.
A plan was hatched to attack the guarding troops during the night,
while dismounted archers covered the 300 foot distance between the newly erected fort and the execution place.
The two dozen guards were overrun 3 hours after sunset.
Some of the crucified just begged for a quick death instead of being rescued.
Gyda then encountered the body of her twinsister.
She was cold to the touch and didn't respond to anything.
She lay her hand between her sisters breast to feel for her heart.
Nothing.
She felt a deep grief taken hold of her beginning to tear-up.
She shook her head.. No time for that. She kissed her dead twins hair before cutting a small lock of it.
Romans will pay for this I vow this to you she whispered.
Next cross.. a read-head woman still alive..
Together with someone else she pried the nails from her feet and arms.
Propped her in front of her on her horse then drove away to the assembly place.
15 successful rescues 18 mercy-kills for a cost of only 5 warriors killed.
Five of the mercy-killed were done out of necessity
The roman testudo formation from the fort came to close by to take them down.
Of the rescued, 6 out of 9 women survived and 3 out of 6 males survived in the end.
None of them would be able to fight again, but at least they thwarted the vile roman execution.
While most of the tribe went as far east as they could, away from the Rhine and the romans, some stayed behind to take revenge.
Gyda was among them.
German Version here...Think this will be the conclusion of the Taurica series
(maybe I have a weak spot for her)
After three full days on the cross, she was getting almost to weak to push herself up.
Fever wracked her body, in her mind her surroundings changed to a more familiar scene.
The dusty road close to the farm she grew up in.
She saw her long dead mom coming closer.
She felt her moms hands embrace her and her lips touching her cheek.
Ow mom it hurts so much!!
I know dear, I can feel your pain.
Please hold me mom!!
It is almost time! she heard her mom whisper in her ear.
Just let go. Lower you head close your eyes.
She felt her mom push her lower back and at once she was standing on the grass.
Her mom holding her, the pain was gone.
it felt strange when she closed her arms around her mom.
Time to leave this place, the world seemed to dissolve around her,
giving way to a bright light.
Her mom's voice in her ear whispered: don't be scared it is going to be alright.
Not a big version this time
German Version here...She had worried about her skirt being taken away.
Everyone would see her naked.
These worries didn't affect her anymore.
Her body hanging from the nails is all she thinks about.
(bigger version of an older render)
Thanks! If you don't post enough guards scavenging can become a problem.
Thanks to @Hornet1ba for the fabulous "Via Appia" prop
Basically, we do not care for the condemned, that they get stripped naked, but these clothes are nevertheless ex officio state property, and stealing state property is a crucifiable crime, young lady!If you don't post enough guards scavenging can become a problem.
Indeed! Crucify the theif stealing clothes that belong to the Roman state! If you don't post enough guards scavenging can become a problem.
Thanks to @Hornet1ba for the fabulous "Via Appia" prop
I'm glad to see they are being disrobed. There is no reason they should be more clothed than the middle one!!!If you don't post enough guards scavenging can become a problem.

Love those breasts! I can easily imagine them bobbling on her heaving chest as she hangs. Do you have her shown in full figure? She didn't curse and yell at her executioners,
took the nails with only groaning instead of screaming.
At no point she begged during the ordeal.
Her painful expression on her face told the crowd she did feel everything.
It lasted only a few moment then she recovered.
She ignored the guards who just raised her cross.
Looking straight at the newly appointed magistrate,
who had come to witness the sentence he had pronounced on her.
How dare you, crucifying your rightful queen!!!!
She stared him down.
He left with his entourage and most of the crowd,
after pronouncing with a shaky and almost squeaky voice:
Justice is done!
Her deviant demeanor crumpled soon after.
The spikes always win.
Defeated, she suffered on,
enduring what fate had brought for her to bear.
Enjoy the larger sized Render
(B is now the new abbreviation I gonna use for this new larger sized renders)
At least, they left the queen the royal privilige of wearing purple! She lost her last companion, all alone now,
the only thing is endure till her body will give out eventually.
She knows it might take days before she will be freed by death.
Not a mind reader. Just know what I like to see. Your artistic skills are incredible. I am in awe.LOL @DirkZ
Are you a mind-reader perhaps?
I was just finishing the final touches on the post-work of this render.
Edited the final edit of the short story yesterday
Enjoy!!
Broken
One hour after being raised.
Despair is setting in.
There will be no rescue, nor will the agony diminish.
Her principle lady crucified next to her left has begun screaming for mercy,
as well as breaking her personal loyalty by cursing her queen to hell.
She lost her last companion, all alone now,
the only thing is endure till her body will give out eventually.
She knows it might take days before she will be freed by death.
A woman close by points at her and exclaims: The bitch is crying!!
Several people watching her grinned and start making fun of her tears.
